Bannerlord has like 132 different maps with far more bandit hideouts. They enhanced companions and perks quite a bit making the game pretty replayable. Bannerlord has a mainstory while basic its still a story. The only think i really like about warband over bannerlord is probably spears.
It's missing features yes, but the core gameplay which is the battles is so much better than Warband. With all its mods, the battles of Warband never feel as chaotic as Bannerlords. Exactly, you butcher them with Fians from a distance, move your cav to flank the enemy (while also massacring enemy cav personally+with cav). If the enemy turns to face the cav then they get butchered by Fians, if they don't you charge them with the cav and order the fians to retreat, then turn to fire once they have made distance.
