63-zone TTL open-aperture metering using 7560-pixel RGB+IR metering sensor, Evaluative, Partial, Spot, Center-weighted average Movie Format MP4 * Time-lapse movie shooting: MOV
The print size we have chosen is a standard 300dpi 8"x12" format, which corresponds to about the physical size of an 8Mpix image printed at 100% magnification. Screen This tab shows the measurement values and graph derived directly from a RAW image when displayed on a computer screen at 100% magnification (i.e., one image pixel corresponding to
Capable of sensitivities ranging from ISO 100 to ISO 40,000 (expandable to L: 50 and H2: 102,400), the EOS 6D Mark II's sensor captures 6240 x 4160 pixel images with a pixel size of 5.67 µm square for outstanding detail and a superb signal-to-noise ratio, resulting in excellent images.
The EOS 6D Mark II is the first EOS Full Frame camera equipped with 3.0” Vari-angle Touch LCD monitor. EOS 6D Mark II features a full-frame 26.2MP CMOS sensor, DIGIC 7 Digital Imaging Processor, normal ISO speed range of ISO 100 - 40000, high-precision and high-speed 45-point all cross-type AF system and maximum continuous shooting speed of 6.5FPS. “Dual Pixel CMOS AF” is newly added to
Canon EOS 7D Mark II - live view and movie AF. It's not just the dedicated phase-detection AF sensor that's been updated on the 7D Mark II: the camera's main imaging sensor uses a version of the 'Dual Pixel AF' system first seen in the EOS 70D. This promises to bring significantly improved autofocus in both live view and video shooting.
In my opinion the 6D is a step up from the from the 5D MK II and wedding photographers used the 5D MK II for years. For low light the 6D is said to have a slight edge over the 5D MK III for noise, very slight. This possibly due to slightly larger pixel sensor size that can gather more photons.
Pixel area difference: 18.92 µm² (136%) A pixel on Canon 6D Mark II sensor is approx. 136% bigger than a pixel on Sony a7R IV. Pixel density. 7.18 MP/cm². 3.05 MP/cm². Difference: 4.13 µm (135%) Sony a7R IV has approx. 135% higher pixel density than Canon 6D Mark II. To learn about the accuracy of these numbers, click here.
